Neil Coburn

Growing up in North Texas, Neil picked up the guitar on a whim as a teenager. This very quickly developed into an obsession, and 4 years of constant playing and practice soon gained him a reputation as a highly skilled jazz guitarist, garnering comparisons to everything from Wes Montgomery to Allan Holdsworth. He has since played all across North Texas with dozens of bands ranging from jazz to fusion to rock to minimalist classical to ambient and avant-garde music. Some of the musicians he’s played with have direct ties to jazz legends like Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter, and Miles Davis. He teaches all levels on guitar.
