Darien, a New Orleans native with roots in Richardson, TX, is a multifaceted talent. With a classical music foundation, she has cultivated her vocal abilities to include impressive impersonations of various singers. Darien’s passion extends to education, where she imparts her expertise in voice, ukulele, and piano at the Lake Highlands School of Music. In addition to her role as an educator, Darien serves as a special education aide at Westwood Junior High, showcasing her dedication to working with neurodiverse students. She is pursuing a double major in Music Education and Theory & Composition, reflecting her commitment to the art and science of music. Darien’s eclectic musical interests span from classical and choral music to the vibrant worlds of musical theater, pop, alternative rock, and even occasional forays into rap.
