
Daria Oleinik is a Russian violinist born in Ekaterinburg in 1998. She began playing violin at the age of five and received early training at the Kyiv Lysenko Specialized Music School. She later studied at the Ural Music College under Svetlana Onuchina and went on to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, studying with professors Alexei Koshvanets, Elisaveta Trushina, and Marina Keselman. In 2024, she began her Artist Diploma studies at the Meadows School of the Arts (Southern Methodist University, USA).
Throughout her education, Daria has won multiple prizes in solo and chamber music competitions across Russia and Europe, including first prizes at “Tradition and Modernity” (St. Petersburg), “Bravo” (Bulgaria), and the Boris Tchaikovsky Quartet Competition (Moscow). She has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Samara Philharmonic and Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic, under conductors including Anatoliy Levin and Alexander Skulsky.
Daria is also an experienced ensemble performer and educator. Since 2021, she has worked as a violin teacher, chamber ensemble coach, and artistic director of a school symphony orchestra at the A.B. Goldenweiser Children’s Music School. She continues to perform actively in solo, chamber, and orchestral settings.
