
Cedrik is a Texas native. He went to school in Garland. He started to play the violin in 6th grade. He went on to start playing the cello in 8th grade alongside the violin. In high school he continued to play the cello even through college. He went to Richland college and got his associate’s degree in music. Then went to Texas Tech University and got a bachelor’s degree in music composition. While at Texas Tech University he got to perform with multiple school ensembles such as the Texas Tech Tango Orchestra, Celtic Ensemble, university singers, a couple of chamber ensembles, string orchestra, and university symphony orchestra. While at school he learned bass, piano, and harp. While playing the cello he has been given the opportunity to play with First United Methodist church in Garland’s music department as a cellist. He has also gotten to play in college at a local Presbyterian in Lubbock, TX. He has been teaching in the DFW area now for five years.
