Miriam’s violin journey began when she was around 5 years old. She started with the Suzuki Institute of Dallas until she was in 7th grade at Greiner Middle School, at which time she picked up viola as well as kept up with her violin in the Dallas Symphony Orchestra program known as Young Strings. From Greiner, Miriam went to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and went on to graduate with high honors in music and several scholarships. From college to now, she has been playing her violin off and on through the years. She consistently taught various friends and students violin from her junior year of high school through her second year of college and then intermittently since then.
