
Emsy is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Having studied in the prodigious music learning band program at Bishop Lynch high school, as well at the University of North Texas, Emsy has a solid academic background as well as music business experience. Being a professional musician, he has worked with nearly fifty local groups, including Cure For Paranoia, Charley Crockett, as well as global artists such as Limoblaze. As a performer, he has shared the stage with acts such as The Flaming Lips, Funkadelic, Ludacris, Robert Cray, Turnpike Troubadours, Chaka Khan, Macy Gray and The Old 97’s. In education, Emsy has worked for over ten years at Thriving Minds, an after-school program in the Dallas Independent School District. He has also taught with La Rondalla, the School of Rock, and Swan Strings. He has the ability to teach both one-on-one and group classes. His curriculum includes, but is not limited, to the following: guitar, bass, beginner piano and ukulele. Emsy also produces music from home and has features on CNN and Lionsgate films. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling/free weights, movies, art museums, and just recently became a motorcyclist!
